    Was watching Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour and they had Carl Froch on the phone. Was a five-minute interview (approximately) and he never once mentioned Joe Calzaghe :shock::shock::shock:

    What is the world coming to?

    Joe clearly lost to Bernard Hopkins and couldn't knock out a shot Roy Jones who has never been the same since his KO loss to Tarver, I doubt Joe could beat a prime Carl Froch.

    Joe is wise and is staying put in his arm chair.

    He didn't want to stop jones because of the huge amount of respect he had.
    A prime 25year old calzaghe when he had his KO punch power would spark anyone out, hopkins, jones, anyone.
    Btw hopkins got old when he fought calzaghe and lost clearly:good

    Froch was being outboxed for most of the Taylor fight and Calzaghe was a better boxer than Taylor ever will be. Calzaghe would make Froch look daft for 6 rounds, a ***** for 3 and then completely take the **** in the last 3 on his way to a 120-108 decision...

    And I'm a Carl Froch fan!

    this has already turned into a jc bashing thread,the guys retired leave it be.

    you won't believe the stigma that my (BS/BA/MBA/PhD/MD/other professional certificate or advanced degree) has left me with.but its nothing compared to what the hopkins groupies walk around with on a daily basis i.e a chip on their shoulder the size of his criminal record and sheer unadulterated delusionment,i though i had it bad!

    Um...no....no I don't think so.

    I can't think of Joe scoring a one punch KO at anytime in his career - He's an accumulative puncher, always has been.

    couldnt knock out a shot Jones.....well yeah thats one negative way of looking at his one sided beat down of a former champ...but hey if the cups half empty what can you do

    Agree with that totally. I like Froch a lot but he'd be embarrased against Calzaghe.

    joe clearly beat hopkins,eased up on rjj due to respect and would walk all over froch,massive UD.
    and there is still nobody from mw to lhw who would beat him.
    so get a life and try to know what you are talking about before making idiotic comments on ESB.:hi:
