The guy is a boxing savant. It is beyon debate, he is the best of his era and possible one of the bery best of all time. Guy had a tough upbringing too...Dad in jail, drug addict mother, raised by grand mother. Today Floyd signed me up....the guy is an incredible fighter, must mind blowing. I wonder how many others were turned today?
I've always appreciated how amazingly talented he is, so I've been a fan of the skill set for awhile now... but after this fight, I don't believe there is a fighter around today that can give him even a solid fight, let alone win....the guy is incredible...
Problem is he is for me he is so unlikable especially when he is trying to be and I don't enjoy watching him breeze through opponents. I completely appreciate his talent, but the guy is a grade A ****.
Nobody's talking about it, but that might be a problem going forward for Showtime/CBS is that he's always acted like a **** to draw people in, and when they get a guy that stands a chance at being competitive people buy and watch to see him lose...now nobody has a REAL chance....
He's certainly a piece of ****, but I don't know how you can't enjoy watching him, as you say "breeze through opponents", there's just nobody around today who can come close. his reflexes even at age 36 are absolutely superhuman, canelo has fantastic handspeed and combination variety yet floyd seemed to know what he was going to throw before canelo did. poetry in motion
Alverez was never that impresive anyway. But i must admit im a floyd hater but the guy is so hard to hit with anything.
