They don't make fighters like that anymore.
Fuk, Marciano used to drink Coca-Colas before his matches, and you know what they were made of back then. The GOOD stuff!

Happy B-Day Champ! Wishing you many many more.

Here's a pretty good explanation of the events the cheating Pryor went through vs Alexis Arguello.
    http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/345/pryor-arguello-memorable-more-ways-than-one/

Then this link has by Emmanuel Stewards accounts has Aaron Pryor indirectly admitting to him he cheated vs Arguello.
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=20737&more=1

How so many posters around here give Aaron Pryor a free pass is beyond me, as if those links I posted were'nt good enough, they're more than backed up by the fairly recent documentary of "Assault in a ring" which has Luis Resto describing exactly what Panama would do to mix pills in a water bottle to then give to him so that his breathing tubes opened right up.

Resto goes on to say that in his fight with Collins, aside from the paddings being removed from his gloves by Panama Lewis, his handwraps were also loaded with plaster.:-(

......yet we're supposed to believe that none of this occured in the Alexis Arguello fight.

We're supposed to believe Panama skipped doing this vs Arguello, knowing he was being supervised by a newly formed clueless commision in Miami, but was brave enough to do it in the presense of an established commision in NewYork.:nut

I doubt there is anything happy about Aaron Pryor's life until he comes public and admits that he cheated one of the greats of this sport.

Aaron Pryor having a happy birthday with that conscious?
    I dont think so.

The last time I see and interview with him I felt like he is doing good and that he has found some peace with himself. I hope he will do fine in the future.

Jesus christ. Let it ****ing go. The worst that he ever did, if proven which it never was, was take something that upped his lung capacity for the later rounds, its hardly like he had bricks in his ****ing fists, stop being utter ****s about a fighter that hasn't been around for twenty years, let it be.

I can't wait to see people's reaction to Shane Mosley in twenty years, won't be a bad ****ing word said about him.

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite exciting boxers of all time! Funny though there are fans of Aaron Pryor here that don't like Pac's style especially that Aaron is the wilder of the two. :think

great fighter, utterly relentless. Watched the 2nd Arguello fight the other day......Alexis was pretty much outgunned in that one. Both great fighters !

Try educating yourself on these particular circumstances.

When Margarito was asked to unwrap the hand that already been wrapped, while Capetillo was protesting, Margarito outstretched his hand and told him to unwrap it.
The CSAC inspectors testified under oath that from Margarito's comportment throughout the whole incident, it seemed to them that Margarito was clueless that his wraps were loaded.
Nazim Richardson himself who discovered the inserts says its very possiibe that Margarito did'nt know.
These are the accounts from professionals there as witnesses.
I could go on and on......Shane Mosley felt the inserts and said, "they felt normal to him."
    ......etc.....etc...........

Now with Pryor, he's right there between rounds hearing Panama tell his hired hands, "give me the bottle, the one I mixed."......and Panama is heard saying this throughout the fight.

......If thats not enough, Pryor confides in Emmanuel Steward that with Panama, he got away with shady practices.

    This is'nt about race.
The facts are what they are.

Now if there is some video evidence of Margarito pre-Shane Mosley discussing plastered handwraps with any of his training help, you get back to me as I'll be the first to condemn the man.

How on earth is he underrated when damn near everyone ranks him as one of the greatest 140 lb. fighters ever, rarely pick against him in mythical H2H matchups at 140, was ranked by The Ring as the #35 fighter since 1922, and people continue to spew the stupid MYTH that the big name welterweights (Leonard, Duran) feared him and wouldn't offer him a fight?

He's pretty much recognized by the great majority of fans as a terrific fighter.
