Only because they had to row crows the north sea before fighting - this time it is different...............:bbb
I'm 50/50 on this one. Froch is as confident as ever and I'm not sure where Kessler's head is at, people have said, including his old trainer that he's a bit past it. However if he can go back to the way he was in the Andrade fight, he'll stop Froch IMO. But imagine if Froch wins..thats a solid resume.
What a shame people make predictions based on how much they dislike the 'other guy' instead of explaining there prediction or giving any kind of reasoning I think this is a genuine 50/50 fight,Kessler is the stand up,hands high, text book boxer with decent basics, decent pop and a sound chin. Froch is unorthodox, awkward, doesn't have the greatest defence, but has an iron will, endless stamina and decent pop. A lot will depend on how much the ref allows Froch to rough Kessler up i feel.Froch won't stand straight in front of Kessler and allow himself to be out boxed,he'll close the distance and rough Kessler up (if allowed). As i've stated previously,Frochs biggest enemy is his ego,and if he see's an opportunity to land a big shot he'll take it regardless of whether he's winning the fight on points or not,and most likely leave his chin hanging out to be suckered by Kesslers uppercut. Kessler may have ironed out some faults from the Ward fight, but you can't teach an old dog new tricks (look what happened to Hatton) he'll do what he does best, and if it doesn't work it may be a Ward situation all over again, pride will not hold you up if you get tagged. Froch will have no game plan except to win,he'll most likely be outboxed for several rounds and the outcome of the fight will be decided when and if he figures Kessler out and manages to turn the tide. Ouch, theres another splinter in the rear
If Kessler beats Froch, Calzaghe is going to get so, so high. And he'll never come down, or stop laughing.
Interesting. I'll have to disagree too, I think Kessler will knock him out and destroy him completely. Froch is way too flawed and actually lost to Dirrell, sadly the fight was in England where only the British fighter is allowed to apply WWE and UFC tactics and get points/cheers for it. Froch is one of the worst champions I have ever seen. Speed is crap, no movement, **** poor defense, laughable combination punching, decent power at best, can't cut off the ring, one dimensional and too predictable. He's one of those guys you will look at in the long run and say "How the **** did this guy win a belt?", had similar thoughts about Pavlik and look at the comments he gets today. Kessler has no excuse EVER losing to this guy.
The Vikings raped the Englishmen and all their women too, not many people or cultures were lucky enough not to get a visit from the Vikings :happy
