Michael Oliveira 14(KO11)-0 This content is protected 24(13)-7(5)-2 José Soto vacant WBC Latino middleweight title. Credicard Hall, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Michael Oliveira is a Brazilian great hope in boxing. The three months he is being trained by Orlando Cuellar, coach Glen Johnson.
I actualy don´t see michael oliveira as the most talented prospect from brazil, he looked out shaped, with poor defensive skills and got a gift decision at his last fight against Abel Adriel, but i hope he show some improvement tonight. He´s only advantage in comparison the other brazilians prospects is because he actualy has the money to be a high level boxer. When someone here see the record of a guy like Genilson Jesus Dos Santos(20-2,19kos) just see a bum with a padded record who got stopped when fight someone with a winning record, this might be right, but i actualy now the history of Genilson and his a VERY,VERY poor guy...at some weeks he is like 3 days without eating anything, it´s impossible to be a decent boxer with that conditions(he´s two losses were against William urina(who is actualy a capable boxer and Carlos Farias, who Genilson actualy outboxed for 10 rounds but then got tired and stopped at 11). i mean...if the brazilians boxers get some support would be a lot of decent prospects here, but right now we have a one eyed guy in a land of blind getting overhyped, anyway..go,go michael oliveira.
olivera could be the guy to pave the way for future brazilians if that nut golota could do it for the poles anything is possible
I agree as well, Michael has a lot to improve and I had him losing 96-94 in his last fight. But he is young, has money, a smart management and media suport. Just need to lose weight and see if he can learn something from better trainers.
I could not watch the fight, but I heard he fought well and was thinner. when out on youtube, post it here.
