The 1980's saw a 4 way rivalry of the 4 biggest stars go at it in the form of Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler

The 2000's saw Oscar, Mosely, Trinidad, and Vargas as the stars of the welter/jr welter area and like the 80's they fought each other except for Mosley and Trinidad.

Would you say this is a good comparison. If not who are 4 other fighters in this 2000 era who had comparable greatness and fought

Still is the youngest 154 lb champ in history isn't he? He always had heart as proved in his fights with Trinidad, Mosley, and DLH so that's what really got me to like him as a fighter.

He got wrecked by all three. He was a level below all three whether Tito ruined him or not. He was good, but not great.

you are insane, barrera had already been in over 60 wars by the time he fought pac, which is a point that often gets overlooked, and these 4 come no where near comparing to to the 4 of the 80's and 90's, pac fans are so stupid, if you wanted to, you could make a case that pac actually hasnt scored a legit win over a top notch guy who was truly in their prime

You could argue that, but his wins are pretty darn good coming off the sheer number of future Hall of Famers he as fought. Surely the first Erik Morales fight that he lost counts as a win over a prime opponent? You could argue that it was the Erik's bravado in that fight that set him on his the path to decline. He ate ALOT of punches in that fight that he did not need to...
