    No, this is the most ****ed up set of negotiations ever. It's also the single biggest failure to deliver in the history of the sport.

    Then there's for the very top the guys get so much they become comfortable and not as needy. Which is a good thing in one way, but it makes them not as necessary for a fight income. I just heard that Joshua Clottey said he won't step into a boxing ring and fight anyone for less than half a million dollars. :lol:

    following boxing can be really frustrating. we now have challengers turning down shots at champions. i kind of expect fights not to be made now, take the recent james degale - george groves scenario,
    frank warren makes an offer to george groves promoter, for a fight to take place.
    (and im thinking, i can't see this happening)
    then, groves promoter makes, they say, a better offer to stage the fight with degale.
    (and im thinking, here we go)
    then next we hear degale - groves fight not taking place this year. its happening all too often.
