Lara shouldn't be close to the Top 10, so how the **** is he actually in theirs.:roto2palm:

    Boxrec's P4P lists are hilarious.

This one is pretty bad, but I even recall them having Fury at #1 at one point after the Wlad "fight". Their flawed computer ranking system probably gave him so many points for UD-ing the long reigning HW king that it catapulted him right into the top spot. Sometime later they had dropped him to around 7 as I recall.

Canelo at 1 is a joke, and like CST already mentioned Lara at 7 too.
At least they had the decency to put Gonzo in there, albeit only at 10.

All P4P lists are a big pile of turnips IMO, and computerised ones are no better than the rest (the algorithms used, with the best will and intentions will never provide a fitting translation of the nuances involved in judging a fight or fighter), but do have the advantage of removing many of the biases involved, most especially exposure bias - the natural propensity to rate a boxer higher just cos you've seen him on your screens more often or in with a 'big' name, and to remove the leaning that a win isn't good because 'the division is rubbish'. Where Boxrec is especially weak is in the lowest divisions, where the relatively low numbers of fighters combined with the high throughput and financial necessity of the best actually fighting the best fairly regularly mean that the top talents score relatively low under the points system.

Huge fan of Canelo, but he's not number 1 P4P, just keeping it real. And as far as GGG being number 3?:risas3::risas3::risas3:

Lara and Thurman above frampton seriously. Frampton beat quigg easily his biggest rival domestically and. On POV then to go over American abd beat Santa Cruz and is fighting rematch 3 top fights. If Thurman beats Garcia defo top ten but Lara hasn't done much and chocolito should be higher

At first I though this was a joke. It must be intentionally bad to garner talk/attention. No press is bad press, right?

IMO Frampton is the fighter of the year, and I agree that Frampton should be higher than Lara P4P.

Agree with this. I thought he beat Canelo anyway, and pretty clear. He basically shut out Paul Williams. Lara has one of the best resumes in boxing.

I'll give Lara the P-will fight, because I thought he won that fight. And I had Canelo a draw but thought it could have gone 115-113 either way.
