actually they both got their PHd's after the collaps of the SU, hasn't Wlad studied Philosophie? but I'm not sure at all in what his PH is, but that they speak 4 different languages you can't deny, they speak russian, ukranian and german fluently, their english i haven't heard so far, but you self should be concerned about their english skills.
It's not the fault of the american heavies, that they barely know other languages, it's an issue of the country itself that the citicenz don't care about other languages.
