What an article...

"Overrated" when used about Pele ****ing Reid..atsch Who overrates him? When was the last time Reid was even mentioned in the sports section of paper or given any coverage by anyone?

And Jamie Moore...again, nobody is raving about him saying he is world class. He is known amongst boxing circles only and known for being someone who gives his all and has been involved in some great fights, that is it.

It is weird one for me but he is entitled to his opinions. The one thing I had to ask is whether Hatton and Moore are more deserving for the top spots.

Instead they stuck to Kostya like a limpet and wore him down. In the back of my mind, after seeing the fear in Kostya's eyes when Phillips flipped the bout on him, I worried that Kostya might be averse to insane pressure. Graham and Hatton had seen this sign also and built up a great strategy.

Plus lets get it straight. Tszyu was in great form. The man was sensational from the Judah fight on, the one dip aside.

P4P top three, a clinical fighter and fit as a flea. That was a great win. Tszyu was not Lacy, he was not green and he fought like Tszyu in the middle rounds.

Since then they went for Mayweather and people miss that when looking at Hatton's fights. Maussa (close off the WBA title route to secure the division), Collazo (follow Floyd to WW and test the waters), Urango (secure a title again at LWW) and Castillo (impress on Floyd's doorstep with an action secured fight).

Once Mayweather fell into place it made the prior fights make that much more sense.

I don't see how he is overrated.

As for Jamie. People just rate him, pure and simple. He's a proper fighter. Not overrated or underrated. I also think Macklin is underrated. Figures in the USA are dying for him to come through. I'd take him over Duddy right now as long as he applies tactics.

For the first minute of Moore-Macklin Matthew came out behind his jab with a strategy given to him to put into place and he ditched this and the fight became different from what they prepared for.

It was a good fight but one sided and Moore boxed perfectly defensively and mixed it with aggression.

For me they are not overrated fighters.

funny article and I agree with some of it.
how can Reid and Skelton be overrated though when basically nobody rates them?
