I know he's coming off a loss and is looking to rebuild but his upcoming Thai opponent has already had 15 trips to Oz and has never won or drawn a fight here. Why dont they just bring a punching bag into the ring instead. I dont like this aspect of boxing.

Don't know why they bother matching him with Thai. Qld & Vic ain't short of welterweights. Current State ratings:-

I know for a fact that Fred Tukes has been chasing Todd Kidd for a fight and Kidd started to **** and moan about money, that's why the fight never happened.
Its a disgrace that Kidd, with all the international experience he had as an amateur is unwilling to step up and fight someone with a pulse and fights Thai cab drivers. Obviously fighting someone for the aussie title and who is credible is not what they are about.

Todd was somewhat tentative for one & half rounds & then floored Thai, who was on his back for a while, then rolled over & did a few push-ups...ref Kettlewell couldn't believe what he was seeing as he was counting over him

If he did another 1 or 2 push-ups he would've been counted out. I figured that was probably his plan

I guess average 300 bucks per round encourages them.
    Scheduled 4x3 = $1,200...win or lose
