    For sure. The writing was definitely on the wall and the wheels were already coming loose. But I still think it probably took the right fighter (an elusive one who could score from outside) with the right game plan to pull it off. I think that this Tyson still would have been dangerous that night against even some of the less mobile ATG heavyweights.

    Will need to watch it again mate. Wasnt actually that long ago i watched it maybe a year or so. Remember thinking at the time tyson didnt look right and douglas did look sensational. Interesting watching that clip you put up...seems douglas had the right idea everytime tyson set he got himself out of there as quick as he could. Great game plan with having the reach advantage. Left tyson frustrated.

    We ll probably never know for sure. But it could have been the blueprint to beat any version of tyson.

    Tyson should of won that fight by KO.
    He beat a well off form Mike Tyson.And that well off form Tyson knocked down Douglas and was given the other side of 10 seconds to get up.Hardly exceptional imo,just down right fortunate.I remember the WBC refusing to recognize Douglas for a while after that.
