Let the Tysonite believe what he likes, you can't educate pork. The idiot will continue to use Tyson tinted glasses.

Bowe wouldn't be shocked at the volume of punching Douglas was doing then like Tyson was. Mike had the aggression kinda knocked out of him early and froze. Bowe would fire back and meet Douglas with a jab better than he ever saw. Douglas would no doubt come out firing and motivated... But Bowe would be coming right back with artillery better than Busters.

Bowe gets him out of there in 6. Buster puts up a spirited effort and has his moments.

Buster Douglas was the right man at the right time under the best motivational circumstances against a guy who got lazy, unprepared and was more concerned with fooking/drinking/drugging then fighting.....and Tyson never pressured Douglas, he just wanted to land ONE big shot to end it, bad recipe when you are almost on fumes when the fight starts.

Riddick Bowe was a very nasty customer in the ring, fact.

Even when ouit of shape or totally shot (GolataII) you could not stop the guy and he kept on coming........the heat that Bowe brought was unbelievable, yeah, Golata looked good for a few rounds but the low blows where there for a reason because he could not get Bowe off him .... no low blows and Golata gets stopped, plain and simple.

The same would happen to Buster, he would have some success and then he would crumble from the pressure of Bowes three minute a round fighting except he would not foul out, he would just take his beating like a man and get stopped.

With Eddie Futch in his corner and properly trained and motivated, a prime Riddick Bowe , head to head is a very formidable and dangerous opponent for ANY great Heavyweight from the past or present.

i can´t believe that a bunch of ******s are saying that bowe was another douglas... lmao bowe proved that he was a great hw and he did beat evander holyfield close to his peak in 1992, douglas got raped by evander early in 1990 it was not even competitive, bowe was much better fighter , much greater and he would have stopped tokyo douglas and tokyo tyson

Not just that, the man was beaten by someone making his pro debut for crying out loud.

The myth of Douglas is still going strong.
