If you look at tyson as a teenager he was actually more on the lean and stocky side, not so much huge bulky muscles. That came after they did a lot of weight training and gave him the proper diet and nutrients he needed, he wasnt just a naturally ripped and shredded 215 pound muscle man. In the 70's most trainers shyed away from weights because back then they didnt know how to increase strength without sacrificing stamina, flexibility, and speed. Tyson did have the slightly more robust frame and muscle mass naturally but not by an enormous amount. That wasnt even my original point, my point was frazier was far better on the inside than tyson, never got lazy and only fought harder the longer the fight. Tyson had no kos past the 7th, frazier grinded guys down and made them suffer while also having some late round kos.
Ali I spent a lot of FOTC laying on the ropes ,which meant he was square on which was when Frazier had his most success landing the hook to the face.Read what I posted, I've never said Douglas isn't in for a rough night in fact I pick Frazier to beat him , but I entertain the possibility that Douglas might spring an upset. I don't need to watch the trilogy I've seen it a hundred times thanks.
Tyson while still a teenager was as big as Frazier it's a documented fact.. This content is protected
I'm sure I read somewhere that Joe was actually about 250 pounds as a teenager and took up boxing to lose weight which is where he got his start in boxing. Tyson was a man/child though and built like a brick out house whereas Smokin Joe at 250 must've resembled a tub of lard but it does show that Joe was naturally a big solid guy himself.
I'll take the 90s punchers without the doubt How many +220 punchers frazier fought except foreman? Tyson fought many, bonecrusher, bruno, ruddock, lewis etc
