    funny how old and shot norton was at age 35

    but they have ppv extravaganzas for two 38 year old washed up fossils ruiz and audley, and is given the love from alot of a country

    yet cooney KO1 is a a knock against him

    hes not from cuba dickhead, how many amateur fights was he supposed to have? 200? :patsch

    like i said..he did have fights like every other mother ****er against some has beens...but he didnt go 12 rounds with them m he crushed them like you are supposed to do and on national tv when it was huge to be on tv

    holmes fighting guys 15-0 who wer to be future world champions, is better any day of the week than fighting guys that have been knocked out over and over and who are almost 40

    bringing up any drug or personal problems show you are a pure and simple hater...so go **** off

    These youngsters are attempting to minimize Cooney's abilities, but the fact was he went into the fight as a favorite, and had nearly every European rooting for him and against Holmes. Throughout all of this Cooney said that he didn't believe in all the hyped racist crap his managers, promoters, and even the networks were using to bill the fight.

    Cooney was a good (not great fighter) who was good enough to defeat both Klits with his aggressive style and fighter's heart.

    Speed, defense, technique, I.Q., power, strength, explosiveness, corner, confidence, Olympic pedigree, experience in big fights, etc..

    :smoke what he is saying is true ICE . COONEY was also a kid with a 3 rounds of activity in 22 monthes before he fought LARRY . And an injured left shoulder . And its not hating . LARRY was the best of his era . Like LOIUS and DEMSEY ect ect . outside LL and ALI who had stiffer then normal competition the heavyweight champs where mainly the best of an average group of fighters . Rose colored glasses dont change the facts .

    :patsch So almost every black person was rooting for LARRY . What kind of a point is that . And like I previously said ! COONEY was coming off 3 rounds of activity over 22 monthes and an injured left shoulder . On and COONEY would have been decimated by either KLIT !

    The sole advantage either Klit has over Cooney is size. That's all, but Cooney would have dealt with that with his jab and aggressiveness. :yep

    When you watch that **** poor match up with inexperienced Haye, it becomes pretty obvious that Cooney would have laid Vlad's punk ass out flat.
