There may be. Both seem to be guys, like Felix Trinidad, who can be hurt, but who have so much heart and recuperative powers that they are able to overcome what are, at the least, average chins.

However, it remains to be seen for sure on both guys. It is still possible that these guys just don't have the punch resistance to hang with the best of the best over the long haul. In that sense, the jury's still out on both. So far, so good, but doubts have to remain.

Indeed. And he couldn't even beat THOSE guys without HBOs help! :patsch

Taylor is, and always has been, a FRAUD - the product of HBOs corruption of the sport.

Thank goodness this charade is OVER!!!:happy

I give Taylor respect for Fighting Bhop, Winky & Pavlik back to back. That's the best of the best in that division. Compare that to PBF latest I-pick opponents. Taylor is just not meant to be a Great Fighter, I just can't mentioned any one Great win of his. Floyd at least have some Great wins at 130. But at 135- up his only Great win is with the Shot Gatti.

for me either way: this is the most disrespectful thread for a fighter i have ever seen, not that because i picked taylor to win, but because there is no sportmanship in a sense to credit the other fighter who lost or who won.
show this thread to a casual boxing fan and they will be disgusted by your reactions. "jt is fraud" then what happens if kelly also loses and every body will say that he is a skinhead geek who deserve to lose will you also cry and whine?
    tsk, tsk, tsk... :-(

your spot on pal.but this what happens with the huggers they just can't appreciate and commend both fighters.this was a helluva middleweight title fight in the fine tradition of some of the other one's of the past.taylor fought better than he has since he won the title he was a whisker away from what would have been considered a great win.he fought well behind the jab put good combinations together and also utilised a good left hook besides his favourite right hand plus he was aggresive for once throughout.pavlik i can't speak highly enough of, although one dimensional what heart and balls, a genuine tough guy with power.anyone who wants to beat this kid is going to have to nail him to the canvas because if you don't he is coming right back after you as miranda and taylor have found out.i was not a particular fan of either but both guys have gone right up in my estimation.
