I was rooting for ding but he got outboxed too much early and didnt do enough late.... he won big a few of the last rounds... but it was too easy for Flores early. I had BJ winning... it was easy work up until the 6th round... then it got kinda interesting, but it was just too little, too late imo.
exactly.... but because ding posts here... ko1 for ding...all the time dings a cool dude, bu you guys blow him too hard.....even he told me that bj had the tools to beat him
Same here. I thought 7-5 Flores was the right score. The fight wasn't pretty, but what the hell is someone going to do against someone who's main chance of winning is KO'ing you with a hook? While BJ could've thrown more, he made Wilson look sloppy offensively. Probably the worst I've seen him in years. People want to rip on BJ, but they don't mention that Ding neglected both the jab and going to the body. I think he just got caught headhunting tonight, and didn't have a plan B for when that didn't work. I like both fighters, I'm just calling it like I see it. I'll try and catch both of their next fights to see how they progress from there.
He ****in ran all night! And punch stats showed Ding touched him more times. Ugly fight & I knew Ding was gonna get burned.
Man, boxing really has gone to ****. The guy who landed more punches, landed the harder punches, and had his man running the entire fight got outboxed? To be honest. If BJ would have fought a tall mans fight, and actively punched, utilizing some great tools, I would honestly be a fan of his.. He has a nice long, quick right hand, and a very good jab. He ****ing barely threw either of them, and one at a time! You throw one jab at a time, its worse than a brawler throwing one punch at a time. ****ing gay. They guy's name is BJ for a good reason.
I don't understand how you have such a problem with Floyd and his style but seem to cut this guy some slack for his terrible performance tonight?
I know...lol...he should change his nickname from "el peligroso" to "el gallo"... ...but I believe he is a 2nd generation Mexican who also happens to be Mormon. So maybe you could say he fought like a Mormon?
God, I'm ashamed for pure blooded Chicano's. First Oscar running from Tito.. Now this ****. Absolutley no balls!
Double standard, any non-mexican fighter who boxes and moves is boring and safety first. But the Mormon Mexican American version of Cory Spinks...."Does what he needs to do to win"...
