Told ya'll Briggs was nowhere near 240.

Two roided freaks fightin' with little skill doesn't interest me. It will be a stinker with Briggs not coming out for the 10th.

Briggs doesn't look fat, its 262 pounds of muscles ready to destroy vitali inside 4 rounds max or he die but he is trying the home run, no other choices I guess

 

briggs is just a natural heavy guy, huge muscles head arms hands feet etc

he IS in shape for sure

makes me laugh guys calling him outta shape , briggs got great genetics

Ha, I agree stocky built, to say the least, but I would have expected him to come in better condition, I mean come on this is a title shot against a Klit.......But then again Arreola did the same thing,.....I honestly think alot of HW guys think it is hopeless and they will lose no matter what so figure, what the hell?... Why bother, I'll eat like I feel like it, and train as hard (or soft) as I want....and still get paid......:-(

Look at Briggs in the later 90s, against Lewis, Foreman, etc... That was an in shape Briggs. He had some muscle, but he was lean and in shape. He's 30+ pounds north of that weight now.

 

I wonder what would happen if Briggs won. He says he'd go after Haye, but chances are Haye would want no part of him (especially coming off a stoppage win against Vitali)

 

He looked fitter in the recent videos then he did at the weigh in video.
I was expecting somewhere in the 250's.

 

I don't see how its realistic for Briggs to get down to 240. The man is built like a bodybuilder (no doubt he trains like one too :bart) and is 6'4

 

It's possible...Briggs weighed 240 10-years ago.

Vitali weighed in at 248.5 10-years ago, and 250.5 today.

If Vitali can weigh basically the same 10-years apart, Briggs could too, if he had wanted.

 

Ya, he did seem to look better in those videos....must have been the lighting and/or camera angle....who knows.

 

I know that but he was growing still , muscle maturity is best at 40 ,

cant tell me hes not in shape, it he became a distance runner he would lose weight but also lose his advantages
