Briggs buddy still has good hand speed at age 38 and 262 pounds, but his feet have been stuck in the mud for about 10 years now... Briggs actually had good leg movement when he ran his ass off against Foreman back in 1997 and was under 230 pounds...

I can't understand the reasoning on telling such a lie that is gonig to be exposed as just that, a lie, only days later. :-( I think in his promo clip, Briggs also said he was down that low.

But maybe the intentional lies did hype the fight a slight bit more, but not much.

Yes, muscle brings power (along with other factors), but when you overdo it, and build too much muscle, you are greatly hindered in the punch output department, and the stamina department, and your balance/mobility, too. Speed decreases, as well.

It may look impressive to be that muscular, but it will GREATLY diminish his chances in this fight.

Wlad, Vitali, Haye.........those guys are boxers who have enough muscle development and power to be a great asset.

Briggs takes it WAY too far, and his oversized mass will be an anchor around his neck in this fight, after the third round. Too much of a good thing. WAY too much.

Anyway, I think Briggs is mainly seeking a movie career, as I've seen him in a bit role, I think. But this is world class boxing, and he looks rediculously unprepared, to be that overly developed and trying to fight on this level with this kind of incredible opportunity. He looks like a guy off the street who has no clue as to what is an asset, and what is a great hinderance in the ring.

Don't be silly. This is clearly Briggs's strategy. It has been proven that being heavy vs. Vitali WORKS. That's why everyone who does badly against him comes in at the lightest weight of their career.

By using modern training techniques and nutritional knowledge, Briggs will cheat Father Time. There is no way that Vitali, at a pitiful 251, will be able to compete with Briggs's strength, power and speed at 262.

    Vitali is SHANNON FODDER!
