of course the usual idiots here tried to act like he doesn't but his Glass Jaw got shattered again. He needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt. He does not have the Chin for fighting.
He was literally flying through the air into a punch from a heavy handed fighter wearing 4oz gloves. Shut up Rico.
it was a careless move hands at his side and ran into a big overhand right on the chin but he was asleep on the way down. I think the punch was so unexpected is a reason why it was so bad, but none the less AA shouldn't have done that risky move when he was doing so well knowing that his chin isn't cast iron.
It was only a matter of time before Fedor got him another way, Arlovski looked really good though. Hope Silvya doesn't plan on doing much if they fight again.
If it had landed though we'd all be calling AA a genius soooo.....props to him for taking the risk for our entertainment... just a pity for him that he almost got decapitated for it.
Fedor was waiting for AA to do something foolish. He was basically waiting for something stupid like that and boom! Hes just a great cerebral fighter. AA was doing well, it was going to be short live though because Fedor took his couple of straight rights no problm and you know AA would eventually get tagged.
Arlovski doesn't have a glass jaw.He has a 'glass defence'. What was he thinking rushing in,chin stuck out and with his hands at his waist ? atsch
IN watching the replay - it clearly showed that Arlovksi was trying to land a flying knee as Fedor was ducking his head. He failed to realize that Fedor was unloading that punch while he ducked his head. The jump was a careless mistake against a fighter of Fedor's caliber.
Anyone felt Fedor actually set a trap for AA? I mean it seems Fedor back up from AA kick into the ropes and just acted like he was tired and open to attacks with his guards down, and I bet AA thought so too so he jump in for an attack and then Fedor was like "Gotcha!" This KO looked scary the way AA fell face first, looked like he could have broken his neck if he land wrong. Funny KO though, makes for a good highlights for Fedor. LOL I must admit if AA can be more patient in his attacks, he will be hard to beat. Would love to see Barnett vs AA.
Yea, I posted same thing in another thread. I think Fedor figured out early on that he can't fake AA like he has Sylvias and Zulus. So he basically opened up himself to open up Arlovski. I think Fedor would eventually find a way to take him down though but AA had a good plan going in for sure.
Yup that's how I saw it too. Fedor is a thinking fighter, he realized he can't take AA out like he did against Sylvia and outsmart him by leaving himself open as a bait, and then boom, good night. If you watch his fight with Mark Hunt, he did the same too. He bounces back to the ropes and just let his guard down. Then he reads the opponent is coming in for a strike and he is already throwing his bomb ahead of them. Like playing chess, he checkmate them and they fall for it.
