He got caught coming full on forward by a heavy hitter he thought was wobbled. That **** will take out a lot of iron beards too.
that's exactly what I thought. It was'nt a case of "flying knee vs right hand" and whoever landed first would have won. Fedor set him up just like you said. He knew what AA was going to do.
Definately. He flopped into the ropes and as soon as AA got airborne he suddenly felt better mid swing and sorted **** out.
Fedor setting a trap? I don't think so, jeez the guy looked like **** until he landed that punch. He was getting out boxed big time. AA tried a risky move and got caught. It would've KO'd a lot of fighters but on this, and past performances I have no problem with the fact he is a little fragile around the jaw area. Fedor is probably P4P no 1 but people seem to think he is invincible and like a Jedi or something: 'Fedor was getting punched in the face on purpose, he got rocked back into the corner as a deliberate plot to draw AA into trying a flying knee' Truth is the Fedor myth is so big now AA believed he had to do something really drastic to win, he didn't really he should have just carried on out boxing him and be patient and see what happened.
This content is protected There really wasn't too much on that punch and how many people has Fedor ever properly KO'd standing? He never has. Arlovski has a weak chin.
Maybe.....but not like they had been shot in the head with a bazooka. Nog took those punches, Tim took those punches. Andrei just has a weak chin. This content is protected
i agree Arlovski has a weak Chin, that's why he works so much on stand up skills. but i don't think Fedor could have hit him any harder if he tried.
I got a lot of respect fo AA. If he had just stuck to his game plan Did you hear his inter view? In a thick Belorusan accent: FLying knee wasnt part of my gameplan. I dont know where I got flying knee from
It doesn't have anything to do with a glass jaw. I don't see too many people taking a flush power shot from the baddest man on the planet in the middle of a ******ed flying knee attempt, with your hands down.... while never seeing the punch coming. AA has proven before that he can take a punch if he fights smart, and doesn't get overly aggressive...which has always been his downfall. To be honest... he looked great before he once again lost his composure, and gave the fight away on a silver platter. Not taking anything away from Fedor... as his composure is probably his greatest asset. The great fighters always find a way to win.
Well he is a top 10 heavyweight and was a UFC champ. Not bad for a a guy who does not have a chin for fighting.
