Told you peter's power was overrated

Man, Peter looked like ****ing ****.

People called it a disgrace for Valuev to even fight Mccline!!!! That is how lowly regarded he was. Valuev fought 4 rounds and was winning, by the time Peter fought 4 rounds he was on his ****ing ass 3 times. Sure his power is over rated.

 

I think most all of us knew that Peter's supposed Tysonesque power hype was a big bunch of ****..............

And now, its not only his power that's in question...........now, I think even his chin is in question.............LOL

 

Exactly right. That's what I was sitting on the couch there thinking, damn, Peter isn't as powerful as I first remember hearing. The Williams KO was over played tho Devistating. It was a perfect punch no doubt, but those rights McCline took didn't even phase him one bit.

 

His power is good, and I don't say this to insult Peter, but thewoo is right. It was overrated. A great deal of his knockouts have come from his seal-clubbing back-of-the-head shots.

Lots of heavyweights would still love to have his strength, but we put more faith in his punches than he deserved.

 

Just because you are an extremely powerful puncher, doesn't mean that you are going to knock everyone out that you touch. Especially when you telegraph your shots like Peter.

 

And he doesn't know how to throw punches correctly. I've said all along that this guy sucks. Herrendous to watch. I was begging for someone to get KTFO. Couldn't believe McCline didn't finish him. But he's in the same league as Peter anyway.

Get better Oleg & KO this chump.

 

Peter still got power, maybe Mccline has more power than people thought.

 

So how did the feather-fisted Peter knock the Adonis, Wlad Klitchko down 3 times? :think

Yeah but if you watch the fight, Mccline was hitting on the break and butting him, theres no fight thats ever fought completely fair.

Well put. I started having my doubts about Peter after his 2 fights with HW eating legend Toney. Now this?

He gets dropped 3X by McCline? WTF? Now McCline is a big HW and I'm sure he's capable of big punches, but still? The posters that are bringing up Wlad going down 3X vs Peter while still winning to compare w/this fight are making a poor analogy. Isn't Peter supposed to have a much better chin than Wlad? :huh And Wlad dominated McCline in their bout. :yep I picked Peter to win, but not like this.

 

Or maybe a true liar. Even if it's true that means he ripped off the fans by not being at 100%. They didn't pay to see a one armed boxer................

BTW, do you also believe Peter when he says he wasn't hurt or knocked down & that he slipped, 3 ****in' times!!!???

 

Maybe by rabbit punching & pushing when he can't find the target?
