Toledo Dempsey vs. Wlad of the Haye fight

    Who do you guys think wins this match?

    Wlad vs Haye is one of my favorite modern fights. It shows Wlad dealing with a smaller dynamic puncher in some close calls. And it shows Wlads persistence the way he kept being the stalker even when he was tired or hurt. And stuck with his jab and fundamentals. His focus and reaction time are really good in this fight as well.

    I do see some point where Haye bobs and weaves under Wlads jab, but he doesn't tie it to an attack like Dempsey would. I think Dempsey could be a tougher opponent that night.

    So what do you guys think? Who would guess to win this fight?

    Dempsey, By KO. Had Haye even tried to make it a fight it would have probably been Haye by KO. Unfortunately, Haye did not have the stones to make it a fight.

    We all know wladimir klitschko beat Haye and it was an incredible boring fight.This glass-chinned "dynamic"
    David Haye never impressed me with his coward fighting style. A 40 years old mediocre Carl Thompson
    destroyed this "lightning fast" Haye.In heavyweight he had only two dangerous opponents Valuev and
    wladimir klitschko and he looked like a boring and coward runner. Dempsey was total opposition with
    his brave attitude who didn't know the fear like Haye or Wladimir K. obviously i go with Jack by his
    mental power.

    One of your favourite fights? I thought it was a stinker ,Haye never attempted to win he was a disgrace.

    Haye outlanded Wlad on power shots. 36/ 119 to 29/133

    He almost took him out in the 12th. Do the math.

    So did Klitschko. Haye was a puff'd up euro level cruiser.. Whats Wlads excuse?

    How could this be anyone's favourite fight? Haye embarrassed himself and WK wasn't much better. The fight was seriously dull.

    Edit: With a Dempsey era ref, Dempsey cracks him open. With a Klit ref, Dempsey implodes at all the grappling, leaning and holding and get's outpointed or dq'd.

    The reality with these match ups is it comes down to the ref.

    If wlad can hug and hold he can't really be beaten other than on the outside or by a hail Mary.

    Dempsey isn't out jabbing him and he isn't gonna be able to work inside if Wlad can hold.

    With a lenient ref, Wlad wins. With a strict ref Dempsey wins.

    I remember thinking it was a stinker when it happened.
    But looking back now, it is a pretty interesting fight for me.

    Also, when it comes to good recent heavyweight fights, there isn't that big of a pool to choose from.
