Agree - talking a lot doesn't equal charisma. I'll never get over Adam Smith calling Joe Laws charismatic, easily the most ridiculous thing he's ever said.
Laws, Little, Allen etc are just stupid, child-like grown men who say really stupid things that some boxing fans, probably likeminded, find amusing. That doesn’t make them charismatic ffs. Ridiculous statement.
He was marketable during his pro career. Maybe charismatic was the wrong term. He was abit like Dave Allen. A fun talker with no filter. I wasn't suggesting he drips charisma like a Mayweather or Ali but he's certainly not as dull on the mic as Dubois. I get the point about him being childish though.
He’s a novelty act dunce. He was never required to sell, as far as television goes, so there is no metric with which to measure that side of things, being 6 down on every card. Selling a fight and getting a few YouTube clicks are entirely different things.
