Tom Little's Fight Pulled , Discuss ?

It's a bad deal, but couldn't Little Tom figure out what most boxfans already had, and that was the Dinu vs Big Maybe Miller fight happening?

The smalltime guys in boxing get the tough deals here, but he could see this one coming from miles away of course. I was very surprised to see the fight still on the card (on boxrec) and couldn't imagine it still happening. It's bad Eddy didn't contact him about it, but he could have picked up the phone himself to find out if somehow it would still be on. Which of course was quite unlikely.

 

Why should Eddie contact him? He’s not his fighter. Dinu’s team should contact him. It’s also not Eddie’s fault that the hosts offered Little a fight for poor expenses, Dinu should have compensated him. The WBA are ridiculous and it should’ve been decided ages ago who was fighting fo this farcical belt. Can’t blame Dinu for taking a title shot and let’s face it Tom had another one way ticket to a beat down anyway. Probably saved his health.

 

His agreement was with Team Dinu and they're the people who have the obligation. All Hearn has done is phone them up and ask them whether Dinu is available. It's on them to either say no or to compensate Little for messing him around.

 

Tim little isn't Eddie's fighter ffs.

Can't we just have one day where Hearn doesn't get blamed for something stupid. The obsession with him is bordering on the ridiculous.

He’s good but has had really poor opposition for too long

 

There are plenty of heavyweights, but a smaller number of those that are credible opponents and available at short notice. Maybe he's got a list and he's working his way down it. Others replied 'I'm sorry my fighter has made a committment to fight X at Y, whereas Dinu's management said 'Sure no problem, he has a fight booked but we can sort that'.

It's on them.
