Just shows Canelo suspension was a total psy op and never actually serious, ever heard of anyone and their promoter arranging their next fight whilst on suspension for PEDs?

Clenelo gave up 55% to Cotto. Clenelo-Golovkin had a higher gate and more PPV buys.

And after all that has happened, Golovkin definitely deserves 50/50.

Nah, 55-45 would be a more fairer deal.

Cotto was a bigger star than GGG is right now

Canelo needed Cotto to break completely through into thd mainstream

GGG should learn a thing or two from Canelo and perhaps he wouldnt be such a lame draw im comparison

55% for Golovkin, yes. But wait, Canelo has his make believe titles, maybe he should get 100%.

Doesn't make it right, this sense of self entitlement is not only ruining boxing.

Its amazing you dont see the irony.

Unfortunately in boxing having the titles does not guarantee you the Lion's share.

Your value is determined by how much revenue you generate. Its that very simple.

There is no injustice buddy. 20 million dollars is more than fair for GGGs brand.

If GGG is willing to let 15-20 million pass then perhaps he doesn't need it.

Make no mistake, Canelo is the draw and GGG asking for 50/50 is lile Wilder asking for 50/50 in England.

I see why the GGG team is furious. They weren’t given enough time to place the GGG vs Vanes match on PPV with the short notice for the Canelo rematch cancellation!
Otherwise they would have raked in 20-30million, given Golovkins popularity, like in all his previous matches.
The shame on GBP for ruining that!

Golovkin had his chance. He knew going in that the deck was stacked against him, and he still found a way to not win a fight against a man who fights for a third of every round. Golovkin will now have to hope that he doesn't get exposed by one of the younger in their prime fighters who are circling him.

Yea I think that 55-45 split is actually Tom Loeffler's goal. But he had to ask a little higher than that to even hope of getting 45% in the end.

They'll eventually come to terms but like shadow said, the IBF decision on the Derevyanchenko case will weigh in on these negotiations as well, because the Ukrainian fighter didnt play a role in this saga until after Canelo pulled out. And I'll be damned if DiBella doesnt ask for a huge step aside fee
