I hope the Ward fight happens, not that I think DL is a bad fight by anyyyyy stretch or want GGG to lose - I just genuinely think its a fight between two of the top active boxers period so how could I not want to see it.

Ive always though GGG would fight Ward at 168 for the right money though, it just bugs me how some people think he should be the one to move up, sell more tickets, AND let Ward get a bigger share. Dawson going full-imbecile in the Dawson-Ward fight negotiations seems to have given Ward the idea that everyone he faces would/should be like that. :conf

He's fighting whoever he can, he shouldn't fight Ward immediately @168 because he'll have to come back down to 155-157 for the Cotto-Canelo winner which would be a huge change that could affect his game badly. Ask him to move up all you want after he unifies.

And before you bring up Froch and Chavez jr, those were big money fights that'd be worth going up and down.

if canelo wins do you think canelo will come right back with ggg? hes fighting cotto in nov 2015....do you think hell come back with ggg in april or may of 2016? im thinking canelo asks to be granted a title defense and then ggg in fall/winter of 2016.....what do you think will be the plan? thats just my opinion

Vitali and Wlad Klitschko have built a brand in both the US and Europe and they're using social media and fan interaction to continue their growth.

Whether or not Krassyuk or Loeffler are the actual respondents, Idk, perhaps they have bot program in place to answer scripted question.
But regardless, they have 5 names in play for GGG, and they'll take the best fight available according to the response I got.

I'm fairly certain that GBP, in order to proceed with the Lemieux fight are asking GGG to drop his WBC title.
Right now, I believe they're negotiating the step aside amount.
They're also working on making this a PPV as chief support for Cotto vs Canelo.

There are several kinks to get thru.

I believe k2 will drop the WBC belt if he's given his step aside amount and/or included in the PPV.

And yes, ward is still their #2 option for the right split.
BHOP a close 3rd, but would have to be on the PPV to get the financials working for both parties.

BHOP has conceded 169. But the financials are not there for him yet.

 

Cotto will vacate if he wins, agreed. But if Canelo wins, he'll have to fught GGG and I think he'd be willing to, de la Hoya can't force him to vacate. And GGG will have to put full 10 pounds muscle to be able to handle Ward, not a good idea before he unifies MW. And it's not just the winner of Cotto-Canelo, fights with Lemieux and Lee/BJS could be on the table as well.

yeah i know theres fights with lemieux, lee/bjs on the table....but those fights mean little to me personally....the canelo fight has meaning and i understand that.....

but do you think canelo will come back after fighting cotto in nov of this year and take on ggg in the spring of 16? like ggg being his next fight right after? i think canelo would ask for a light defense of the title and then ggg in the fall/winter of 2016....which would make a ward fight possible .......ggg can put the weight on with the right regimen.....and hed have close to a year probably, if what i said is true, to go back to 160 for a canelo fight.........its very plausible....i just think his team is looking at a loss to ward as something thats going to kill his aura and momentum.....and that canelo might try to rake him over in negotiations if he loses to ward........

 

Shockmaster who really cares what means to you personally, you don't like GGG (don't claim otherwise, it's fairly obvious at this point) and you want to see him lose and as soon as possible so you can be proven what a hypejob he was before he actually does something significant in the sport.

i dont hate ggg...im a fan of the sport.....i dont hate any fighters...i hate their fans who dont hold their "hero" fighters to the same standards as others
