K2 see a 175 lb Canelo killing himself to make 160 next yr.
He's not GGG who is an actual MW.
They also see several, marketable fight at 168, Zurdo who will be as highly regarded as Canelo after he KOs Abe, GG who will carry the British fans, ESPECIALLY after he KOs DeGale, Chudinov is building a fan base in Europe, and of course BHOP and hopefully Chavez Jr if he ever comes back.

There's also a young German kid, Feugenbutz who is a SMW Lemieux.

Would easily be just as, if not more entertaining in a couple yrs.
I think moving to 168 is GGGs limit. He's just not built for more.
I KNOW he shoulda been managed better early on, the American/Mexican way, boiling down to the lowest possible weight therefore increasing profits....

    But....is what it is.

He certainly can't let Canelo leapfrog him to SMW and steal his Zurdo and BHOP fights now can he????

So exactly WHO has Golovkin beaten to be compared to Thomas Hearns?

    Tommy beat;

    Cuevas
    Benitez
    Duran
    Roldan
    Hill

    Hearns >>> Bum-love-kin

You really think he'll have any chance against Ward weighing 165? Because I don't.

So basically Loeffler is admitting Golovkin has been protected and fighting stiffs. If were going to be "pleasantly surprised" by him fightin a live guy, what has he been fighting for the past few years? Bums? This spells it out crystal clear.

Roldan was a middleweight and Hill was a light heavy.

Call me when the Triple Duck gets a win over a light heavyweight of Hill's caliber...

Interesting fight, if it's Lemieux. But, it does not really do much for his legacy or prepare him for the fights that will.

GGG is in another weight class, and has fights at 160 to make before moving up. He wants to unify the division. Ward and GGG will eventually meet. The Irish man Ward will face the Korean Golovkin inevitably :deal

    Welterweight.

He was a fukking BANTAMWEIGHT FFS.

And he was like 44 y/o.

Imagine if GGGs best win were a 44 year old Morales.:patsch:patsch:patsch

Hearns, who turned pro as a welterweight, had the gonads to move up to light heavyweight. That's 4 weightclasses.

    Bum-love-kin, OTOH, can't go up 1.

    Hearns >>> Bum-love-kin

Because size matters when there is skill involved, Hearns was able to compete at a higher weight class because he was head and shoulders above his opponents there, Golovkin is a skilled man, but so is Ward, and Ward is LARGER.... Do not worry too much. GGG will eventually move up :deal

The reason why is because Lemieux is probably going to lose to his mandatory, Tureano Johnson (after Johnson wins his next fight). So, to Golden Boy, what makes more sense? Fight Johnson for low money when there's a good chance you'll lose, or fight GGG and give it all you have for much bigger money?

It'd be the latter. Plus, if Lemieux loses to GGG... it's expected so it won't hurt his career that bad. If he loses to Johnson, that'll put him a couple steps back in his career.

GGG could have turned pro as a LWW.

    Whats your point.

Eastern Euros fight guys bigger then them from the day they enter the pro ranks. :-(
