NO . Lemieux is not near as a big deal as Ward. A win over Lemieux is expected and whatever and expected. But a win over Ward would be monumental.

Haha, Floyd is my favourite fighter and I don't even call for him to fight GGG.... Most GGG fans dont even give a **** about the Floyd fight...

If it made sense they'd have fought Ward already, the fight isn't even big enough to pay both men the monies they'd want.

However, GGG haters discredit everything that GGG will do, any opponent he'll fight except the one that they think can beat him, come up with some ducking nonsense... It sounds wholly familiar to me.

 

He already has credibility.

Ouma, Rosado, IshiidaKO, Macklin, Murray, Geale, Rubio.

All credible opponents.
He would have smashed Sturm, would have smashed Taylor, would have smashed Sergio or Jr.

And he will smash Lemiuex, Lee/Saunders, and Cotto/Canelo.

K2 has sent a public offer to Ward for late Sept. Theyre also WILLING to make concessions for that date if Ward will make similar concessions.
Roc's initial reposnse was no, they had other immediate plans, but perhaps, when K2 sent the "private" offers, Roc talked it over with Ward, and talks are beginning to evolve.

K2 is gonna take Lemiuex if the concessions are not too much.

But if GBP asks him to throw away his WBC belt, AND fight in Canada, AND rematch clause, AND etc etc etc, you'd best believe they'll work harder with Roc on making the Ward fight at 168.

GGG just wants his fair payday. He's earned it, and whether he wins or loses to Ward is not the issue. They just want GGG to get his 8+mil, and HBO is willing to put up $5 mil for Ward vs GGG.

Ward agrees to 40%. This gives GGG $3mil from HBO, $2 mil from gate, and then Roc and GBP get together and work out the other $3 mil., which they gotta pay him regardless if they want Canelo vs Cotto.
All Ward has to do is be available for testing and come in at 180 which he and Hunter SWEAR he weighs on fightnight.

Its all VERY SIMPLE.

Worst case scenario is GGG is STILL WBA Super Champion at MW, and he loses a close decision to an ATG.

Best case scenario.....he's still the WBA Super Champion at MW, he's the new WBA SWM Super Champion, and a KO win over Ward gets him a new deal on HBO guaranteeing him in excess of $5 mil/fight.

Which fight do you think GGG will take if Roc shows him the $$$????

yeah i am....and you know it...you feel it...its like when pac got knocked....it hurts you...then it hurt even more when floyd ud'd him like the boss he is....i can only imagine the hurt that would come if ggg ever grew a pair and sprouted a dong....and fought someone like ward....but he prob wont...hell just feast on c level/b-minus at best mw's......

 

It's a good fight, two top 3 middleweights fighting each other. But it's "meaingless" because GGG will probably beat him lol. :|

 

aqua...those fights make minimal sense in the event ward cant land ggg/stevenson/kovalev.....yes ...if that happened those fights might make sense......but ward is going after ggg.....and ggg is cowering like team pacquiao.....
