I don't know but Tom Quick Hands sounds like some street name for a gypsy. Adamek says this wasn't his idea. He found out about it and accepted it. This crap has Kathy Duva's marks all over it. For starters it sounds gay. Secondly, Goral was a good, unusual but fitting nickname. Lastly, Adamek's hands are not that quick.

It's a bit embarrassing, really, because, quite frankly, he's not that quick at heavy. He's not slow and he's quicker than some, but not noteworthily so.

I liked 'Goral'; it had character.

What if he loses Tomaz and just goes with Tom 'Quick Hands' Adamek? I've heard worse, but it is a bit weak, to be sure...

Its true. TVN24 is a national respected broadcaster and Adamek confirmed it in an interview. The only thing we can hope for is for them to change this garbage to something else.

Its imbued with a lot of significance. In Poland, Goral is a distinct subculture of tough as hell, axe carrying people living in the mountains, with their own traditions and dialect. Poland has embraced this culture and is proud of it. Adamek is an actual Goral and was born in this region.

But I suspect that that your reaction is their rationale for changing it. Most people don't know what a Goral is. But that's what makes it fun. They can find out.
