EU light heavyweight champion Orial Kolaj will defend the title on July 19 in Rome against Tomas Adamek. This content is protected Czech Adamek 18-6-1 and not to be confused with Tomasz Adamek, the Polish heavyweight. Kolaj, 9-5, from Albania and with a huge Albanian flag tattooed on his back, turned pro in 2008 and appeared to be heading for career as a tough journeyman with losses on the road to the likes of Dustin Dirks, Robert Woge and Dario Cichello but during 2011-12 it all changed and he beat Danilo D´Agata to win the Italian title and then got revenge over Cichello to win the EU title.
