Appears Team Adamek got the call from HBO, that a date is set for the 24th of April against Arreola, with the fight to take place in California.

Just a month earlier is supposed to be the Klitschko-Chambers fight.

The winner of the Adamek-Arreola fight is getting lined up with a shot at the championship, still in 2010.

Adamek of course has to win his fight with Estrada first, taking place in February.

    Adamek UD.

Adamek is in trouble...he has a great chin and the heart of a lion, but he's never taken a punch like Arreola's.

I'll be pulling for Tomasz, but I don't like this fight for him one bit!!

I think he can do it.

Adamek has been a bag of surprises all the way along.

Underestimated everytime, and the underdog in many of his fights, and he always pulls through. A real warrior, ducking no one.

    Go Adamek!! :happy:happy

If I was Adamek I'd cancel the Estrada fight.

2 months wouldn't be enough to heal from a cut.

Damn, would be great, but there's one thing that I'm afraid of. It's time after Estrada fight. Can't think Tomasz could lose to Estrada in case it's a big chance for him looking forward. So a bit more time than 2 months to prepare after the tough bout it may be dangerous, also his trainer may have problems to be with him whole the time, I don't know how it will look like. Problemous thing :/ but they're wise people so they should do everything to work out. Maybe some kinda second trainer, Idk ...

The hardest exam of Adamek in his whole career, but ... he's my boy, so I can't type any other than Adamek's win, UD ? Stoppage ? Whatever, poll's vote is UD.

Damn quick turnaround for that level of competition. I have to tip my cap to Adamek if he pulls that off.

If Arreola's last performance is any indicator, Adamek should find it easy to target right hands on his chin. But Adamek has been rocked by lesser punchers/smaller men and Arreola will bring it with intensity. Interesting fight that im sure will turn into a brawl.

Adamek is not a dumb boxer, if he was just some brawler/head hunter he would of fought Golota that way, but he beat him by boxing and using smart aggression. Adamek will beat Arreola easily. Admaek is a real contender at HW unlike Arreola.

I'm pretty HBO will allow Adamek to get some rest and they will postpone the fight in late May or early June. You know how HBO is, they never live up their proposals.

Kudos to Adamek for taking this fight. I think he can do it, he's a better quality of fighter and if he can take Arreola's punches then of course he'll win. He'll find Arreola's chin easily and I'm still not convinced of his ability to take that good a punch. He took a lot against Klitschko, but they didn't have the venom behind them that Adamek will be putting on each punch.
