Agreed. Adamek is a better fighter pound-for-pound that Chris but the weight difference is too much. Tomasz does not avoid punches so much as he takes them well and fire back.

Tomasz most likely is reading too much into his defeat of Golota. But Golota looked like he was just in there for the paycheck.

If Adamek's chin does hold up he should take a decision. But I gotta think that eventually Arreola will catch him.

Depends on whether Adamek has to break much of a sweat to beat Estrada.

Rubbish. Arreloa may in fact be able to impose himself on Adamek physically and win the fight, but he's no "absolute beast." More realistically, he's a run of the mill HW in my opinion.

According to Adamek himself, that is the plan.

That is the offer from HBO. And Adamek appears that he will take it. Kinda ****, but no other options at the moment. Besides that Adamek has been waiting for this type of oppurtunity for some time.

Hopefully he doesnt look past Estrada though. I never like it when a fighter has a fight lined up before he even takes the first fight.. like a stupid superstition.. which in lots of cases prooves to be nothing more then that as well.

He did it with Cunningham and Banks.

It is short notice but Adamek wants the money TV recognition(always wanted to be an HBO fighter)and he is just ballzy enough to do it.

I was scared for him when he went to CW at HW Adamek boggles my mind as to how brave he is.I still think that going to HW is the beggining of the end but he has my support till end.

    Horrible matchup for Adamek.

And why target the #1 heavyweight in Wlad Klitschko?

Adamek needs to go after Haye if he wants any shot of winning a world title.

Maybe he feels he has a good chance to KO Wlad. I could see it happening. When Adamek gets off, Wlad will try to smother him & thats where Adamek will KO him...on the inside of a big guy, Wlad will never know where the punch came from. Like when Sanders KO'ed him, Wlad never saw those left hand bombs & the rest is history.

    Great fight on paper.

Offhand I like Adamek to win, but he CAN NOT start warring with Arreola the way he used to do with guys at CW and LHW. If he starts getting too brave in there, Arreola stops him.

Adamek is reaching here. On top of having the physical discrepancy, in weight (obviously), height, and reach, Chris has good power, pretty decent chin, and is going to put a lot of pressure on Adamek. If he tries to mix it up, it'll be his funeral in the HW division. The only way to avoid being in the oributary is for him to outbox and stay on the outside, which I don't know if he can or will. Needless it's going to be exciting while it lasts, and he deserves a lot credit for taking this fight.

No he does not, if he did he certainly would show it, and so far he hasn't. He's a come forward clubber, although I'll admit, he does have some skills.

Arreola is shite. HBO can see that. Clear cash out fight. Bye bye Cris you won't be missed. Fast mobile HW's is the way to go. Back to the old days when it was about skill rather than physical dominance. Thank ****
