Golota did not embarrass Poland. He embarassed Riddick Bowe (the baddest man on the planet) in front of his home crowd.

Tough call. As previously stated he will likely have good speed at HW. But given his frame and proven ability to be hit, i'd say doubtful that he could ever seriously challenge either Klit and may even strougle with the kevin johnsons of the division. he made good money in the Golota fight and can probably make a bit more at HW but for how long? At least at cruiser he could have a good few years at or near the top and that division has some potential to get a little more exciting and maybe a bit more lucrative (there's two good titlist types in afalobi and cunningham, jirov's coming back, maybe jones stays there for a fight or two after green, herbie hide's got a name and is near to getting a shot).

100% agree and I like Dawson but have to be realistic. As an Adamek fan I admit STUPIDITY for not reading more into it going in against Adamek, later I find out the guy was getting literally SICK and vomiting his INTESTINES for crying out loud to make the weight and STILL went 12 with Dawson. That tells you right there, dare I say, he's ATG material already and I believe it with all my heart.

Right now he ranks #1 favorite heavyweight for me right next to both Klitschkos. The heavyweight division is finally looking great and I'm very very happy Adamek is finally getting recognition.

    Let's go TOMASZ!

Tomasz says that Paul is the hardest opponent he has ever faced.

What if Adamek could successfully compete (i.e., defend belts) at both HW and CW. I think those are his goals. His performance against Golota was more than just ok - it was a comprehensive domination. People say that it was ok because it was a helpless version of Golota, which is a legit pov. Even if Adamek tends to be tagged a lot (which i think is a bit of a stereotype due to the Briggs and Dawson fights plus TA has improved a bit in that dept.) the men has one of the finest chins in boxing, which makes up for that defensive liability. On his offensive arsenal, conditioning and mentality alone, I say he can capture a belt at HW and give the Klits a tough outing. LETS SEE MORE OF HIM AT HW BEFORE JUDGIING!!!!!!

The Briggs fights were out of this world. Win or lose, all the respect to both fighters. These fights are recommanded literature for any serious boxing fan.

Pretty much consistent with mine. If successful, Adamek's journey through the CW and HW divisions will be one of the most compelling stories in boxing.

Baddest man on the planet? Bowe had lost the title by the first time he fought Golota. He had also essentially eaten himself out of contention with his extreme in between fight weight gains much like Ricky Hatton.

He will go where the money is at and that's the heavyweight division. Adamek would be very happy to stay in the cruiserweight division if he was getting paid well.

The two fights between Adamek and Briggs rank up with my all time favourites with Tua vs Ike.

Whereas Haye seemed like a guy who drained himself to CW and is now fighting in his natural weight class, Adamek strikes me as a blown up CW fighting in HW. I don't think he's at his best in the HW division but I'm all for him proving me wrong. I love it when fighters do great things. He could be a three-weight class world champion. I don't think so, but that'd be great if he could.

If there is no money in CW, then there is no reason for him to stay there. Adamek can fight Rahman, Briggs and then Haye. He would have earned enough money to retire by then. Or retire by fighting one of the Klits.
