Tomasz Adamek - Heavyweight or Cruisereight?

He climb up in weight and he is now fighting at HW . . . so? He is a heavyweight fighter.

Stop living in the past . . . live in the present. :deal

No big fights available to Adamek at CW. Just Cunningham, but at a very low price and high risk as no TV is interested in picking up the fight.

heck, even guys like BJ Flores and Godfrey turned down title fights with Adamek, he was forced to move up to HW.

I think Adamek is open to fights at both divisions, he will probably stay close to 210lbs, at least for a year, and see what comes his way.

Maybe Huck/Afolabi or Erdei/Wlodarczik might become possibilities in the near future.

I dont understand why he left CW when he could have dominated and ruled for a few years. He is to small at HW and I would even pick Haye to blast him out.

 

he can build up to a fight with haye. haye and adamek are the best major cruiserweight champs in a long time.

why fight cunningham again for little money, when he can fight haye for a heavyweight title and big money?

adamek refuses to plateau, he moves up and looks for new challenges. credit to him.

so, is he fighting jason estrada, next - in february? as always great that he is keeping busy.

his handlers main events know how to build a light heavy/cruiser/heavy. didn't they promote evander holyfield?

 

they did but it was milion years ago when they ruled boxing with don king , now they re wot they re an organisation that cant even find tv to broadcast adamek fights.

 

He should juggle both!!!!!

 

I think he's a cruiser. If matched vs a past his prime heavy, or a small heavy under 220 pounds, Adamek can win.

 

I believe his next fight is at heavyweight. It's supposed to be early 2010 in Newark. We'll see what materializes.

sadly adamek just doesn't generate lots of money. this will change when he lands a WBA eliminator, and a WBA title shot at haye.

still, they know how to develop a fighter, to build a fighter into a heavyweight. i like it that they keep adamek busy.
