Since 2009 Adamek has had 10 heavyweight fights. To jog people's memories:

    Andrew Golota (TKO 5)
    Jason Estrada (UD 12)
    Chris Arreola (MD 12)
    Michael Grant (UD 12)
    Vinny Maddalone (TKO 5)
    Kevin McBride (UD 12)
    Vitali Klitschko (L TKO 10)
    Nagy Aguilera (UD 10)
    Eddie Chambers (UD 12)
    Travis Walker (TKO 5)

My question is this- is there a active heavyweight whose last 10 fights have been as entertaining as Adamek's? He has had one's that didn't get my full attention where he outboxed lower competition. But he has had fights where he's been rocked bad and came back, and just all out entertaining fights as a whole. Most of them have had moments of competitive action which roused the crowd. Vitali is exciting but when I look at his last 10 fights I think I prefer Adamek's when I compare them. What do you think? Now I know this could be because of Adamek's flaws sometimes and not his stle but he's still involved in these.

    Walker was really exciting.
Arreola, Golota and Maddalone were OK.

The rest is difficult to call exciting to say the least. One-sided beating from Vitali, inability to clearly outbox one-armed Chhambers or to KO completely finished McBride were hard to watch.

Of course, if you compare him against other top fighters who are mostly inactive or "not ready" to take any challenge, it still looks better than most of them.

Depends on his opponent really. Arreola and Walker were good fights.

you need to get out more if you think that adamek is the most exciting heavyweight.

the least exciting, yeah. but he's no where near the most exciting.

Adamek is up there in the warrior spirit and action fighter rankings. The guy consistently comes to rumble and gets into a firefight.

I'm with Montero in that there are other exciting heavies, and you can't go wrong picking any of the fighters he named.

If consistency and fighting a lot are important factors for you, then he's up there. He hasn't had amazing fight of the year fights like he had in cruiser, i'll admit. But that's because he doesn't really belong in heavyweight and the opposition isn't exciting either.

I agree 100% these guys are exciting (though I didn't enjoy Arreola's win over that guy when he injured his hands). But these guys don't have as consistantly as exciting (from a competitive standpoint too) fights as Adamek for me. Arreola had a back and forth fight with Travis Walker, and Seth Mitchell did with Witherspoon but apart from that I'm not aware of any others.

Adamek is probably on the shortlist for most exciting heavyweight. There are a few others that you could make an argument for like Arreola, Chisora, Mitchell, etc.

I'd love to see Adamek against Mitchell or Arreola again those are can't miss fights. It would be great if NBC had Adamek-Mitchell on its NBC date but I doubt that happens.

Adamek is hard working and stays active as well so its easy to be a fan, he probably gets a title shot soon but Wlad would absolutely wreck him. I noticed all Adamek's ko's have come in the 5th round.
