Tomasz Adamek is fighting Joey Abell next, expect a disastrous career ending for Goral

Abell was in Wilder's Ortiz camp, he should be sharp enough to take this. Abell's chin isn't good but Adamek has poor power at heavyweight. Plus he's had a good run lately where as Adamek is declining.

 

Poor compared to his power at cruiser, and yes probably below average by world class heavyweight standards, but still better than anybody that Abell has beaten.

 

Abell maybe a journeyman/gatekeeper type, but he can crack. Adamek is getting old enough where it'll be difficult to fight negative and make it to the last bell to win by robbery. It's possible I just like Abell's chances.

 

Adamek is sort of a walking KO at this point but call me crazy, I'll be picking him to win.

 

Vitali nearly killed Adamek, he belongs at cruiserweight, no higher, really light heavyweight...............

 

Abell is a very solid journeyman.
Adamek is going to get a tough time in the ring.

 

I swear Adamek has to be one of the bravest or stupidest fighters I've seen in recent years. It's like he welcomes brain damage and concussions like they're old lovers. Abell isn't a great fighter, but then neither is Adamek any more, and if Abell can do anything it's punch... punch really effing hard. He's also a huge mofo, juiced up to the gills, and coming off a string of wins, which will mean he'll come into this one full of confidence and looking to do damage. Adamek of a few years ago would probably win a wild shootout with a knockdown or two. Today's broken down version gets brutally KOed for change.

 

The odds came in for this fight. Adamek is the favourite, but only by a small margin. Was hoping for higher odds on Abell.

No, he's the same guy he's always been. But Adamek's a shell of a shell of his former self.

 

Same here. Adamek will get the decision probably. He will be more careful and won't make the same mistake twice. Molina was just lucky.

 

Molina caught Adamek with a big telegraphed right hand. There was nothing lucky about the shot. Adamek just didn't have the reflexes to get out of the way.

Abell is faster and harder hitting than Molina. And Adamek's even older and slower.

This fight's only going one way.
