To be honest, he was the favorite in both fights. But yeah, a lot people didnt believe in Goral. He proved them wrong.

It looks like HBO wants Adamek to fight Peter or Arreola in December.

Get off Haye's ball scrotum already. The vast majority of fans thought that fight was a disaster for Haye. He barely managed to eak out a victory over a vastly inferior opponent. His strategy was garbage and plain boring. If you want to know how to beat a bigger man, study Arreola-Adamek. Thats how you stick and move without running the New York Marathon. Sure Adamek took a few shots from one of the heaviest punchers in the division, but at least we now know he can. Can we say thesame about Haye?

Holyfield is a better fight, as much as I don't like saying that. Tony Thompson would have been a great choice, but I haven't been keeping up with his schedule.

IMO this fight may fall through if the thing with Haye can get resolved quickly. If Haye opts to fight with Wlad, than Povetkin will be available. If not, then I'm at least hoping Haye isn't serious about his "rest" and can sign a fight with Adamek. Also another opponent may present himself, like Chambers or Thompson. Riskier fights, but better rewards. These talks about Grant are still in the early stages. I don't see how Peter should fight for an eliminator after beating a nobody. He needs to beat someone to earn a date with TA. But I guess name recognition talks.

Would Peter/Adamek be an IBF eliminator? I thought Peter is the #1 IBF challenger, so as soon as Povetkin is cast aside he gets his shot. This was given as a reason previously why Peter wouldn't fight Adamek.

On the other hand, the winner of Adamek/Peter would have to be considered the #3 heavyweight in the division (ahead of Haye), so that's some incentive.

It's true he doesn't have the athleticism now, although he appears to be in really good shape. I'm sure he's lost agility, although power is the last thing to go w/ HW boxers and that is something to think about. If TA can land some of those combos on Grants chin that he landed on Arreola, could be good night for Grant and his glass jaw.

I hope Adamek passes the test and earns enough position to stand against Haye. But lets back and focus now on current fight.

Although im a fan of Adamek, this is a bogus fight imo.... anyone saying different is fooling themselves or shamelessly bias. Grant????

the outcome isnt in question, it does really nothing for his standing, and is pretty much an overall waste of time.

regardless, i am supporting adamek and hope he does what he needs to for this fight, if he wants to fight big guys im sure a dimintriko (spelling?) fight would be possible... and despite his lowly status, is still leagues beyone grant at this point.

regardless, adamek usually has tough fights and if this is a 'tune up' style fight, while its still bogus, its at least a bit acceptable.

    War Adamek.

Kirk, at least you are the one who admire the idea of waiting for a big fish instead having "busy fights". Why to take unnecessary risk while there are big challenges like Haye. I think Adamek should learn some patience from Haye.

Kirk, it isn't a good fight, but it is a pretty standard keep busy fight. Most likely Adamek wins big, and he doesn't develop any rust. Not a fan of the fight, and I hope it isn't on HBO, but I prefer a fighter keeps busy.

I would rather see Adamek take on a prime giant like Dimitrenko than a faded fighter like Grant.

That said, the size difference is going to be very hard to overcome.

Its called being a boxer and fighting, instead of a business man holding out on fights to earn a few more dollars and waiting for K-bros to come out of their prime. Haye should grow a skin and risk a little already instead of either taking on hasbeens or taking a rest. He's very quickly amounted a reputation for being a **** talker and an inactive fighter. If it wasn't for Haye's cowardice (which is tying up himself, Wlad and Povetkin), Adamek would likely have fought either of these three. Why can't he take on Adamek or Povetkin or Chambers or Thompson or Arreola or Solis if his fight with Wlad is off? He's acting as though he's passed all the tests and only the Klitschkos remain, which is total bunk. Haye's HW campaign is a joke. Zero substance.

They are not worthy (yet) enough to stand in the same ring with Haye. They must earn some credit and maybe then start thinking about good tactic which let them survive whole distance against Haye. My advice is to hire Kevin Johnson as a coach.
Btw, Im a conscience of typical (orthodox) Hayes fan, so dont even try to convince me.

Grant literally has no Chin. None. Adamek will stop him.
