He genuinely was one of the best ever AM ATG's.
This is a good fight. If Solis was more disciplined he would prob be #3 heavyweight in the world today.
Solis along with Chambers is the most skilled HW in the division. If he takes this seriously and comes in under 250 he's going to absolutely school Adamek. I would't be surprised if he damn near shuts Adamek out. Also he can punch pretty good, much harder than Eddie so he might even KO Adamek. I feel totally confident predicting a Solis win here.
Can't see Solis get in shape to win this fight in all honesty. The version of Solis who fought Vitali would give Adamek a run for his money but he seems to have regressed a lot ever since he got that freak injury in the ring. He'll turn up out of shape and get outworked.
Isnt this the guy that KTFO of Haye with headgear on! Adamek making the farce look like the ***** he is 1 contender at a time.!!!! Another Adamek fight...another consensus vote he loses by the haters!!! LOVE IT!!!!
Wouldnt think its as one sided as some here seem to think. Adamek is oddly under-rated on this site. I think an in shape Solis does beat him though. In terms of raw talent,I dont think anyone in the heavyweight division can match him. Great match up by modern heavyweight standards. You gotta give Adamek one thing. He wants the big fights and isnt afraid if fighting anybody
Way shoe horn a comment about Haye into the discussion. Your obsession is truely breathtaking. And doing it by bringing up a meaningless 10 year old amateur fight....kudos.
Exactly. Why is everyone ignoring this point? This content is protected FACTS about Leif Larsen: He has a shot put personal best of 18.76m, and finished 4th at the 1994 World Junior Championships, He won several US state titles in both javelin and shot put, He was Norwegian national judo champion He played for Buffalo Bills in the NFL, and was chosen 5 picks ahead of Tom Brady in the 2000 Draft, He benched 225lbs 45 times, and also benched 665 lbs with no lifting aids, less than 50lbs away from the world record, He left this bloke unconscious for 15 minutes: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrsOTYI_JLs[/ame] 7. He floored Danny Williams with a slap, 8. He is 16-0 with 13 KO wins. Now, taking all of the above into account, do you think that that gluttonous pig Solis will be in any condition to fight Adamek in December? I think not. I see things panning out a whole lot differently, Larsen brutally KOing Solis, Larsen getting the Adamek fight, and then a shot at Vitali in 2013 (no way does Wlad step in with a concussive puncher like Larsen).
