Arreola's skills are way below Golota's skills even now.

Now Golota is just too slow for Adamek ... that was the whole
gameplan from Adamek: be faster and more accurate.
In prime Golota's mobility would be comparable to Adamek's and Arreola's
+ Golota would have all the remaining prime toll's (as e.g. jab) inaffected
.... I doubt that Golota's psychic would be ever affected by Adamek's frame.

IMO Golota would eventually prevail and pound out a 10th round tko, Adamek is as tough as they come and it would be a decent fight up until around the 7th when Golota's size would start to come into play, he would outmuscle Adamek and his speed would begin to help him land regulary before the ref jumps in.

Brings a tear to my eye watching that stuff. AG was SO DAMN GOOD!!! He made Bowe look like a freakin bum in there. I love in the 1st fight, in the middle rounds at the bell to end the round, Bowe pushes AG out of frustration & Andrezj blows a kiss to him! It doesn't get any better than that.

    :p

Why oh why did he have to throw those low blows!???:tired

Bowe could not believe how this "Big White Stiff" from Europe was kicking the **** outta him. You can see it in his face!

    :!:

... it wasn't for any belt, and right after that Golota got shot at Lennox
so the low blows were just some cherries on the cake which made these
fights so famous and memorable ... nobody else in boxing history scored
a three low blow combo to the nuts :deal, the other guys are just one blow
shy and they are mostly ashamed of themselves afterward :D

Golota was a clown. He's got the skill , he was very good but.....

His mentality was weak he had no heart i really feel dissapointed

Just imagine that i woke up in the middle of the night just to watch 95/56 secunds.best wins of Golota?

I just dont want to think about him , he is a shame to us Polish people.Fights with Tyson Grant Lewis Brewster showed that he was a looser

Don't say that...THE MAN TRIED to do the best he can. Not everyone is meant to be a world class athlete. Andrew was just 1 can short of a 6 pack.

Sad, but true. Critizise him all you want. He had tremendous boxing talent, but couldn't keep it together mentally.

Have you ever competed in any kind of sport, where the pressure can build towards a big match? How the nerves make your feet feel like lead & your stomach hurts so bad you just want to roll in a ball & sleep?

Pressure in sports is no fun. Some can handle it...some can't.

Its no reason to rip the Man.:deal

i don't really like this thread.

adamek only went up to heavyweight during the recession, when there was no money from american TV.

he had to move up for economic reasons, yet still managed to beat a top 10 heavyweight and a puncher at that (arreola).

if adamek was a cruiser in the '90s he'd have been winning lots of title fights on don king undercards, i would think. if he'd moved up to cruiserweight sooner - i.e. 2004 - he would have made good money vs the likes of mormeck, braithwaite and o'nel bell (whom he would later outclass and stop). point is, in other eras he may never have moved up.

adamek is a championship calibre fighter, and golota isn't. golota is a true heavyweight and adamek moved up because he pretty much had to.

Golota lacked the single punch Ko's, he was slow starter
in the first place and he mostly scored accumulative stoppages,
    but with record
