I think 4, 5, and 6 were all close and you could argue for Goral in each. 1, 2, and 3 were Pin's. (the 1st was uneventful, though)


So anywhere from 57-57 (generous to Adamek) to a shutout (generous to Szpilka) is possible here.

Szpilka is backing away, making Adamek miss his straight-ahead 1-2. Szpilka counters with a right jab and left cross. Additional left hand by Szpilka. Adamek is getting pushed across the ring now as Szpilka opens up with power.

I don't usually score for ineffective aggression but he did sprinkle a few jabs on Szpilka, who missed a lot of his desperate power shots on the back foot to my eye.

 

Round 8

Szpilka is backing up, looking to catch Adamek on the way in with a big left hand. Adamek is turning his body to his right to roll with the punch, and scoring on the body of Szpilka, backing him into a corner. Adamek is marching Szpilka down and lobbing right hands over his back. Szpilka thrusts out a right jab while tracking rightward. Adamek spins on his front heel, untouched by the jab, catching Szpilka at the end of a right hand. Szpilka is backed into the ropes by a hard 1-2. Szpilka ducks and weaves as Adamek swings hard with an uppercut. Szpilka is slammed into the ropes, Adamek picking up steam with uppercuts and chops.
