Tomasz Adamek vs. Artur Szpilka Nov 8 in Poland

I'd actually favour szpilka, was always very vocal on here about adamek being overrated and very lucky in a lot of fights at heavyweight and he seems to look quiet shot these days, vitali gave him what would be a career ending beating for most fighters

 

Would favor adamek in this fight. That being said he has clearly slowed down recently. Whatever happens should be exciting while it lasts

 

I can't believe this fight is gonna happen so soon. I actually think Szpilka can beat an old Adamek. Could be the end for Tomasz & mean bigger fights for Artur in the near future.

Its gonna hurt to see either guy lose, though.atsch

 

Yep adamek has slowed so much that if he gets any slower he will come to a stop I wish he would retire he has been a good fighter and it would be sad to see him continue to get damaged

Adamek is one of my all time favourite fighters but I think he's there for the taking and I have a feeling that Szpilka will take this.

But, if Adamek was to win then I hope he retires after. It would be a good win for himself and the Polish public to retire on.

 

I have a funny feeling that if Adamek does win, he'll continue his search for a HW Title fight, unfortunately.

Maybe he'd go after the winner of Chagaev vs. Oquendo coming up soon. Adamek might he able to take out either of those guys.

He'd beat Oquendo if by some chance he beats Ruslan. I wouldn't favour him over Chagaev going off his last fight but who knows. Maybe Adamek has one last big performance in him after a long, hard career.

One things for sure when he finally does hang them up he's had an outstanding career and he's certainly HOF bound.

 

Adamek still has enough to take care of Szpillka

This is a great match-up (if it happens).
I like both fighters, but iit's a do or die match for Adamek, if he loses he might as well hang up his gloves ...

One of my favourite fighters growing up was Dariusz. Excellent fighter who is overlooked due to him fighting in Europe.
