Jones was not undisputed ,the only reason he go the WBA and WBC is because dariusz got stripped of them belts for showing them alone side the wbo

How can you be undisputed if you haven't beaten the lineal champion and only have the belts because he got them taken off of him because of bs? Jones ducked dariusz he wouldn't even mention his name

He was never the undisputed champion. Nothing more than an unified titlist at LHW actually. Michalczewski was the lineal champ, while Roy won the titles that were previously vacated by Dariusz.

It doesn't matter what WBO "was back then", since we all know that it's the champion who matters and not the belt. If Klitschko suddenly decided to vacate all of his belts except for the IBO, you can bet that the IBO would be more legit than the other belts at HW, especially the WBC which is currently held by Stiverne.

Michalczewski was the lineal champion, had 23 title defenses, and regardless of being inducted in an American based HOF or not, he was truly a great champion.

No matter how shot Adamek is, most top 50 boxers win against Szpilka. Minto and McCline schooled him, he was down against Saulsberry. I wish it would be possible, that I could fight Szpilka in my first pro fight.

Adamek has the harder chin (but can be wobbled and dropped, by lesser hitters than Pin) and much less HW power (although lesser overall fighters than Goral with comparably mediocre power have shaken up Szpilka...)

 

What has Szpilka done in his career to make people think he'd be competitive against Adamek?

I wouldn't call Adamek "shot" after his last fight--he lost, but was up against an elite opponent.

 

Szpilka is overrated. He has nice punch, but not that tremenendous as many people excepted. He's not very tough and makes a lot of defensive mistakes. Defence of Adamek also looked terrible in his last fight with serious troubles to block jab of opponent. I except kind of close fight, but Adamek has better chance to win for me. He's experienced and I think it's going to pay-off against Szpilka who has a mentality of a rookie.

 

Szpilka can not hit hard. Even as a Cruiser, he wasn't knocking his opponents out, watch his first pro fight. He couldn't hurt Owen Beck, he punched full power against McCline and he was never even hurt. People overrate him because of the nice knockouts against Mollo .. but who is Mollo? He lost against a shot Golota.

 

What's the story with this fight? Is it still on for Oct. 18th???:think
