    Adamek is jabbing and circling. Guinn is turning and watching, blocking some jabs with the drawbridge of arms descending, but getting lit up by just as many. Guinn's face is puffing up in spots. Adamek is tattooing him with the jab while keeping him turning like a rotisserie.

    Adamek is slowing a bit, caught by a left hook. Adamek throws in combination, doubling the jab and building into a 1-2-3. Guinn has Adamek backing up, approaching with the high turtle shell and hooking from it. Triple left hook by Adamek to buy some time as he slides back. They trade jabs and both land. Adamek is wobbled by a hook/jab hybrid, caught off balance and staggering on his heels. Guinn reaches out with a jab and taps Adamek on the forehead. Double jab and hammering right by Adamek, missing or hitting glove but keeping Guinn from opening up. Chopping overhand right by Guinn when Adamek stops throwing. Adamek is rocked back, but plants his feet and wrestles Guinn off. Straight flurry by Adamek.

    10-9 Adamek but the closest yet, not far off from being Guinn's.

    First off, I 100% agree with your main point: "175-200lb Adamek was a blood and guts WARRIOR."

    I do think the self-belief was there through the Arreola fight at least, but he already was forced to alter his style to the point your claim rings true, regardless of the "self-belief" factor.

    After the Arreola fight, he did too much *****-footing, because he was making money and, as long as he kept winning, on his way towards an inevitable title shot when he wanted it.

    Prior to HW, he had more of a Mosley mindset of a willingness to fight anyone.
