The "main event" could be the most competitive match of the night, by far.

...and that's even if the end result is a brutal kayo, as expected.

no doubt about it, but throwing only 203 punches in
    10 rounds?!

  3. I am curious if Adamek stops to duck Szpilka, Wlod and Pulev.

I'm guessing that is average for Guinn. If you were expecting a Margarito-esque 100 punches per round than you were sadly mistaken.

Nope, but one of those shutouts went the opposite way from what most were expecting. So that's at least a little something.

I scored this fight a shutout for Adamek, 10-0 rounds, 100-90 points. The 1st round was very close, the 2nd was competitive, and Guinn had a flurry with about 35 seconds to go in the 7th, that was about it for Guinn. Guinn's performance obviously deteriorated after the accidental headbutt in the 3rd round, the cut didn't seem that bad until the swelling worsened, maybe Guinn was just gassing early after taking the fight on 2 weeks' notice. Adamek looked very fresh and sharp, good ring movement, good angles, good crisp combos, but then again, Guinn offered zero resistance from the 3rd round on. Adamek is legitimately on the periphery of the Top Five heavyweights, he blew a huge opportunity by declining the Pulev eliminator, hopefully he is now motivated to do whatever it takes, and fight whomever it takes, to at least get one more heavyweight title shot.

Curtis Stevens is so cawky doing his fight plan with BJ Flores.

"If I don't knock him out when he gets inside using this devastating left hook of mine, well everybody knows I can box too so I will move in and out and diffuse him with my beautiful jab :jjj"

Naw Guinn has never been a great ball of fire, even from ko'ing
Michael Grant, the only excitement in that fight were the knockdowns.
But I mean he hasn't been on any type of stage in the U.S. in a while.
I thought he would've went "halfway balls out"
