i believe you have no authority to say that...you are not a doctor...if thats the truth he will not be given licence,,,adamek is not a big puncher but throw combos and win on points...i dont see any risk for toneys health
If they are paid to fight, if they want to fight, it's torture to not let them make the fight to them. They want to fight, they need money, and you're not paying their bills. So why do you want to keep them from feeding their families? It's a brutal sport but it's an even more brutal world. What else are guys like James Toney and Adamek going to do? Especially a guy like James Toney who isn't the sharpest knife.
Oh yes, very apt comparison. Good one. The fact that you are pissed suggests you are a ******. I mean, PISSED OFF? Are you fuming and angry over a fight happening? Really? Get a grip kid...jeez. It's just a ****in fight. So, by all means, make a big deal and talk **** about a fightyer who'd litterally kill you in the ring. Make tough talk behind your computer. It's COOL to do that!! :good
Of course, that caring, egalitarian society that is the United States is entirely motivated by the welfare of fighters and not at all by money when they decide to give out licenses.
And here's the root of the hate. Chambers is getting surgery dude. He's out for a spell. Get over it. Or should Adamek sit and wait until Chambers is healthy and able to fight?
Learn to look after his money? What use is having money when you are being fed through a tube? Toney genuinely isn't far off that point.
Being pissed off isn't the same as being fuming and angry. Now it's the "you're not a boxer, don't talk **** about them when they would **** you up" chestnut. How many more cliches are you going to use? If we're not allowed to make negative comments about fighters on here unless we fight ourselves, we may as well scrap the entire ****ing forum atsch
Some states in America & other countries around the world will license anyone. Bowe had brain damage & was forced into retirement but got licensed in Germany. Ali had Parkinsons & was still allowed to fight. I have the authority to state my opinion, based on years of watching the sport & its clear as day Toney is sick & his speech is getting worse & worse :-( If you dont see any risk for Toney's health then you really dont understand how dangerous boxing is, both the short-term risk & the long-term effects. Toney could be seriously injured by a featherweight the state he's in & should not be allowed to fight.
