And has since beat a former undisputed champion and won the IBF and Ring belt to become the man of the division......but you are still stuck on a stay busy fight that he won 8 out 8 rounds well over a year ago.
Damn! You Adamek nuthugger go beserk as soon as someone doesnt praise your big hero,eh! My point was that Banks didnt look very convincing against a limited opponent in his last fight, but neither did Adamek some months ago. A lot of european based posters havent seen any other Bank fight apart from his less than stellar performance against Rossitty.Easy to misjudge a fighter based on one mediocre performance, dont you think so! I just wanted to point out that Adamek, too, had his "Rossitty" fight.
Im directing my post AT YOU and nobody else.(you and i have a bit of a history)You seem to bring up that fight every time you talk about him.The only difference now is you arent finishing with..guys like Adamek couldnt hold a candle to Alexeev Again it was you who tore both him and Wlodarczyk down all while painting Huck and Alexeev as the future....look how far we have come. You always seem to sneak in your own form of critism..even when not relevant(this about the 30th time you mention that fight). In the future will you mention Alexeev's quit job every time you are discussing matchups and future opponents?
Former World Boxing Council light heavyweight champion Tomasz Adamek (33-1, 22 KOs) This content is protected (8-9-1) by This content is protected on Saturday night on the Cunningham vs. Huck undercard at the K Seidensticker Halle, in Bielefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Adamek, 31, was making his second fight at cruiserweight after abandoning the light heavyweight division following a one-sided unanimous decision loss to Chad Dawson in February, a bout in which Adamek lost his light heavyweight title. Instead of re-tooling his skills and challenging Dawson again, or one of the other light heavyweight champions, Adamek opted to move up to the cruiserweight division, in part due to his constant struggle of having to drop weight to make the light heavyweight class. Like in his initial bout at cruiserweight, Adamek decided to fight a soft opponent, and Jalusic, a a mediocre record of 8-8 going into the bout, was certainly every bit of soft. This content is protected This content is protected The fight was for the most part unremarkable, and other than Jalusic choosing to stand in between rounds, it had little of interest to comment on. This content is protected . This content is protected Overall, it was an impressive win for Adamek, but it’s clearly time for him to start stepping it up because he’s wasting time fighting C-level fighters and at 31, time is something that is working against him, especially with the younger, better cruiserweights like Yoan Pablo Hernandez, for example, quickly moving up the ranks. I watched 3 random rounds and this exactly what i saw.I HAVE to get my hands the entire fight and try and see what Odo is seeing.
Unlike you I watched the entire fight. You can twist the facts as much as you want to, Adamek showed a weak performance that day. Anyway! That was a couple of months ago,and Banks is a different pair of shoes.
A bit of history,eh! I guess whoever critisizes your hero ends up having long discussions with you.:admin I am still not sold on Wlodrczyk at all.Adamek has proved me wrong with his last two performances.I didnt think that he would beat Cunningham.I was wrong.Props to him! Huck? A great talent, but he will never be a long reigning future cruiser champ.Too many weak spots. He will find his match very soon again. Alexeev? I still believe in him. He will come back as he has the skills and the firepower to take on whoever is put in front of him.He just needs some fights to get used to going the full route of 10 and 12 rounds without trying too hard to knock his foe out.
Number 7 IBF and 1 WBO, yes a top contender. A fighter is as good as his last fight. That was one of his first fights at cruiser, keep in mind thats up 25 pounds, not no lower weight bull**** where every 3 or 4 pounds to the next division or whatever.
You are spinning and deflecting from what i am debating with YOU and only YOU.Im not calling you out for critisizing him im calling you out because your version of events always seems to be different from most other peoples. You painted Adamek and Wlodarczyk as hopeless all while pumping 1 guy with no talent and another that is all talent and no heart.I think you tend to focus on the negative on guys you dislike and OVERLOOK the negative of guys you do like. And who is twisting facts???That article support's what i saw(3 rounds minds you)and debunks what you claim....i didnt write the article!
Banks fell apart, panicked, gassed against Rossito. Adamek beat Jalusip every round. JJ ran, and spoiled, but there was no doubt who won. Banks could have lost, could have got a draw. That was Banks' toughest opponent since Castillo. Adamek's fight was routine, stay busy job on the Cunningham-Huck undercard. It was a glorified sparring session; Banks-Rossito was life and death. I hope Banks-Rossito was an off night. If it WASN'T, then Banks is going to get badly beaten by Adamek.
Said Adamek: “After beating (Steve) Cunningham I became No. 1. I feel I am the best. Although I won that fight and everyone liked it, it was rough on me because I would have liked the fight to have been sooner. I trained for six months (for Cunningham) because the fight was changed two times. This fight, they will see a better Adamek because I will be more fresh and sharp. I will win!” Said Banks: “I’m a boxer, that’s what I do, the difference is, I can punch. Sparing with Wladimir (Klitschko) taught me how to deal with punches, I’m well equipped to win this fight. Look for an explosive fight; most of all don’t blink!”
no clue....never seen Banks fight b4, how good is he? winner should fight Enzo though i think he's the best Cruiser in the world right now, unless Mormeck comes back
