Man, two years since Adamek won a fight. Is this for the national title or anything?

Damn, even I would beat Adamek today. I don't expect this fight to be entertaining like Golota vs. Saleta.

He loves beating up old men. He should fight Ruddock next.

    Inaugural Polish seniors title maybe.

Adamek probably isn't even top 5 nationally at the weight anymore, realistically - and Saleta not top 15.

Adamak is top 5, but I agree otherwise.

I want to see a Hardcore 3 Way Dance between Golota, Adamek, and Saleta, I can almost see it now Golota coming to the ring dressed like the Brooklyn Brawler with a trash can full of Singapore canes over his shoulder.:toney

    1) Artur Szpilka (undoubtedly the #1 right now, and beat Adamek decisively h2h; close as the scorecards indicate but still clear)
    2) Mariusz Wach (might not beat more fighters than Adamek necessarily, but would be kayoed by fewer...)
    3) Marcin Rekowski (close loss to McCall, then avenged...plus recent victories over Sosnowski and Oloukun. Not amazingly special, but more than Adamek has done in a long time)
    4) Michał Cieślak (rated at cruiser but has fought above 200lb more often than not. If he stops Cox today, he too has a superior ledger of recent work to Adamek's with knockouts over Rosberg and Binkowski and shutout of Abdoul)
    5) Krzystof Zimnoch (inactive for a while but returning next month...Adamek close to his prime would probably wipe the floor with him but Adamek is far removed from his prime now...)
    6) Andrzej Wawrzyk (blitzed in embarrassingly quick & easy fashion by Povetkin, but I'm not sure the same wouldn't happen to Adamek tbh..)
    7) Izu Ugonoh (weak resume to date but the Nigerian-Polish former kickboxing world champion is a marvelous athlete with two inches of height and nearly a foot of wingspan on Goral...and has natural HW pop unlike the former cruiser)
    8.) Adamek

Ehhh........ I think Adamek does a demolition job ob Wawrzyk, we're talking about a guy who was getting outboxed/outworked by a shot Botha in 2014! :patsch He's a joke. Adamek might have enough movement/skill to win a competitive fight with Wach, I'm not sure though. As you sad Zimnoch has been inactive, so we can't really assume he's better than Adamek...... Think you're being a little harsh on Admake here man, he's fallen off quite a bit sure.... But competitive fights where he lasted the distance with Szpilka, and Glazkov are not enough to considered him shot to bits and not even top 5 at domestic. :huh

Ugonoh looks to be a good prospect, but we can't really know how good he is until he steps in with someone who has a pulse. Impossible to rate him above someone as tested as Adamek, even if he's faded YET.

I think if Adamek has kept himself in shape and hasn't let himself go in the last 10 months or so that this should be an easy nights work... He's still a top 30-40 HW easy.

Are your rankings more based on activity/success, or how they fare h2h?????? Because if it's the former I can see a case for your post...

    Combination, all rolled into one.

Adamek had to dig very deep just to make it vaguely competitive with Szpilka. I think it was his last gasp, and the final halfway decent performance he will ever put on versus a halfway decent opponent.

Even if he dominates Saleta here today it won't mean Adamek is "back". (except, unfortunately, that's exactly what he'll convince himself it means...)

I agree completely..... Won't mean anything. And that syndrome get's more than not in the sweet science. Hope he makes the right choice after tonight and retires.
