I dunno, maybe Jones drops a round or two later on in the fight, just because he's coasting his way to a victory is what I was thinking...
Adamek doesnt need to win a round. He would catch him and finish him somewhere in the fight. Otherwise Roy wins by decision. But I believe that Adamek is too big for Roy (217 pounds to 193 pounds) and he should win. You will say that Ruiz was even bigger, but you have to admit that Ruiz's style was suited for Roy.
Roy hands down..... Only in the general forum do you see fight predictions based on Fight Night round 4 ! *Slaps Forehead*
Interesting.. If Adamek doesn't do Cunningham on Roy, the Roy is doing Chad Dawson on Adamek, I think.
Adamek just looks huge in those pics. Like real heavy. I dont know who would win if Roy was prime but im sure it would be much harder for him than Ruiz fight.
Jones. No doubt. Adamek is succeeding at heavy on the basis that he's quicker than most heavies, more technicallly skilled than a lot of them, a bit smarter and by showing resilience and good survival ability. Jones is quicker, more technically skilled and smarter. Adamek hasn't shown particularly good power or a particularly good chin at heavyweight, though that's up against true heavies. Those attributes probably come back against somebody of Jones' size, but Jones is far too quick and far too smart to get caught with loaded up shots and wins an easy decision.
Adamek is too strong, too powerful for Roy Jones imo. Roy Jones cant keep his back of the ropes consistently these days. I think people underestimate Adamek's ability somewhat, he is not just a tough guy, he does know how to apply pressure methodical pressure and set you up for a big punch, which is somewhat what he did to Cunningham and Banks. edit.......my bad, I didn't realize the TS mean the Jones that beat Ruiz. I thought you meant Roy of today
