Tomasz Adamek vs. Steve Cunningham II set for NBC on Dec. 22nd.

I would have liked this fight much more if Steve managed to rack up a couple of wins at HW.

 

True. He was only 208lbs. for his 1st HW fight. He's taking this much too early in his HW campaign. He's gonna lose again to Adamek!

 

It's funny. British and American fans are desperate for boxing to be back on regular TV and when it is, the promotional company who get the TV contract don't have the best stable. I wish GBP or Top Rank had this contract because they could put on a better card, but this main event should be fun. Even though Cunningham isn't a heavyweight, neither is Adamek so it should make for another entertaining fight. I could imagine a few knockdowns and probably a mid/late round stoppage for Adamek.

Hopefully this gets plenty of promotion and does big numbers.

Adamek W 12. It will be a tough fight, as was the first one.

 

Too bad Cunningham is old now. He needs to fight David Haye.

 

Interesting to see how his chin adapts going up in weight. Very few fighters gain more punch resistance, and if Steve's chin is the same or less what's stopping him from getting dropped 3x again?
